After doing some research over the past few days I came across some very interesting design tips for iOS 5.  There are a lot of apps out there, and to make your app standout, design is key.  In “Steal the Good Stuff” on cocoanetics.com there are plenty of references to sites that have great design for iPhone and iPad. (interesting that I am stealing blogposts from someone that says “steal the good stuff”).  Another good site is on Theocacao.com, although it is old it has some good notes.  Also the link to http://giveabrief.com/, is really old and I do not belive the app is in the store.  Another important reason to have good design is that you want your users to actually use your app, I mean if the interface is complicated and doesn’t work well, no one will bother trying to figure out how to use the app.  Don’t spend a lot of time on functionality and then give up on design. It’s all about the UI and UX.
